The Owens’ as a whole would like to acknowledge and thank the efforts of (grandma) Lauris Hamilton and Dr. Klein for donating stickers and toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss, for the kids in Africa.
Their donations have blessed many of the smiling kids from the shantytowns that attend the Human Dignity Center.
While working at the Human Dignity Center, I noticed that the children were rewarded for good behavior from the teacher, who would draw a picture on their hand (smiley faces, diamond rings, anything the kids wanted), so the stickers will be a real big treat.
The toothbrushes will be kept at the center rather than being sent home because they are sometimes misused or misplaced. The children will be brushing their teeth after the breakfast that they are served first thing every morning.
