Snakes, snakes and more snakes...
Here in Africa the population of snakes is much higher than in Canada by far.
Yesterday a man killed a snake which was unfortunatelly not a venomous snake and instead eats rats.
The rule now is that if anyone sees an Olive House Snake that is brown, they should not kill it but instead let it eat away the rats.
The picture of the brown snake is the Olive House Snake. It's called an Olive House Snake because it has an olive like colour. We were told that there never are many snakes in the base. But we were told wrong. There have been two snakes in the last two days. Today there was a sighting of a black snake which could possibly be a Spitting Cobra. The Spitting Cobra is the second picture of the black snake. It has not been killed yet but we hope it will be soon. Pray for us please! Pray that the snake won't end up being in my bed at night. :-(
