Do you understand? or Are you drunk?

In Swahili, "Do you understand?" and "Are you drunk?" sound exactly the same with the exception of one syllable.

Unaelewa? means "Do you understand?"
Unalewa? means "Are you drunk?"

This is of course a very important distinction as we found out!

Note to self: Never miss a syllable - you may be insulting someone...
