Our dear friends Paul and Sally who work diligently here on the base have not been back to their home country for 2 yrs. They are leaving this monday for a well earned break for four months. We will miss them. We are feeling more than a little daunted at the thought of them leaving.........
"who will take care of .....?"
I am sure we will survive and even grow into some more responsibility but still .....
Anyway, this lovely couple have graciously offered us the use of their car while they are gone. We are so blessed by their generosity and by God's faithfulness to us.
As many of you may know we are currently waiting for our car in Canada to sell so that we can buy a car here. The process has taken a long time..... We will probably import a second hand car because most cars here in TZ are damaged by the roads and dust so their suspension is shot.
In the meantime, we need a car to get around and about 2 weeks ago Justine, Zac and I held hands and agreed in prayer for God to loan us a car.... 3 days later Paul and Sally offered their car. They have a policy of not loaning their car to anyone due how damaging the roads are here and the value of a car can drop within months if it is not taken care of..... also they were driving to Dar Es Salaam originally..... so not only were we surprised but really, really grateful.
