On Saturday, amongst the throng of women and a couple of men that were waiting to receive maize was a little eight year old girl. She had come on behalf of her family to get some grain. When questioned regarding her mother's whereabouts she explained her family situation. Her mother was at home in bed, sick with malaria. The previous day she had spent 6 hours at the hospital and returned home with medicine but was too sick to leave her bed. She has four children and no food...
