A Toast to Toastmasters!

Members from my old club, Cloverleaf Toastmasters in downtown Vancouver, have generously donated to our famine fund and leadership initiative. The president of the club suggested that I submit a speech that would inform them as to the present need and how they could help. They dedicated a week's meeting to Africa as a theme, read my speech and discussed ways they could assist. It apparently came as a bit of a surprise to find how many active links there were between the present membership and this continent. The response has been wonderful and will provide almost a whole week's grain for the hungry in our local village.
