Divine appointments... in a supermarket???

It is amazing what you find in Arusha’s biggest supermarket. There are many western items available now in this large store.

What we weren’t expecting to find was 3 hungry workers.
When we say hungry, we mean spiritually hungry. While shopping one day, one of the workers introduced himself to David and asked him what he was doing here in Arusha. David told him that he was here as a Christian teacher and with that the worker called over his other friends and proceeded to excitedly ask David if he would be prepared to tell them about Jesus. They had been wanting to learn more about Him but their Catholic friend was not able to tell them much. Their religion holds Jesus in high esteem but does not acknowledge His deity. After weeks of meeting for Bible study with David where their questions showed a deep desire to understand Christ they came along to church. Should they wear a suit? Was it o.k to take notes? Would they need to explain why they were there? Etc. etc.

The meetings continue with these 3 hungry young men. Please pray for them and for David and he ministers God’s love while sharing the information with them. They asked, “Is it too much to expect Jesus to show Himself to us if we pray and ask Him?”
