My Visit by Aunty Bonnie

This report comes from a lady who lives in a quiet town in Australia on the eastern side called Casino. There is a verse in the bible that suggests that it is a good thing our tents be widened. Well, let me tell you, my tent pegs have certainly been pulled to their absolute limit. Don’t get me wrong, our drive to Nairobi, Kenya, I loved, right from the horrendously bumpy roads (with pot holes which were a little smaller then the Ngorongoro Crater) to the amazing views over the Rift Valley. We were on our way to see where Zac has now made his second home emphasis on second ( especially around Judi).
Zac lives on, what I call, a plot of grass no smaller than a University campus. He looked extremely small up against the huge mountains that loom high above. This little twelve year old is pushing through the realization of the fact that it wasn’t the laundry fairies or the "tidy the bedroom" fairies or indeed the"wake me up" fairies but in fact it was his mum, bless him. When he comes through this he will be way ahead of my 18yr old male teen at home (so help him when I get home).
It was wonderful to see Zac and to take pictures of where he sleeps, his room and even where he puts his laundry so we can show his grandma and grandpa in Casino Australia. We have been really blessed by our time with Zac and our time with Judi and David at Arusha. The people we met were beautiful and our hearts didn’t need to search hard for God's blessing anywhere. We will take our wonderful experience of Tanzania home with us as we will, truly, be changed people.
Love Aunty Bonnie
