A quick Alpha then we hit the frog and toad...

Tonight we are running the introductory session for our first Alpha course. Twenty six people are expected, including helpers, then we catch a ride with a couple back to spend the night at their place. First thing in the morning we head down to Dar Es Salaam where we'll spend a day before flying to Port Elizabeth, South Africa. We'll be driving down, four of us in a RAV4, with enough luggage to survive 3 weeks of winter. A quick trip takes 8 hours and Dar is expecting a high of 30C, and this is the 'cold' season!

When we get to PE, we'll be going on retreat to a beautiful, but very wintery, beach venue, where we'll be attending a "Vision and Values" weekend.
After a week or ten days in PE, we'll be heading up to Joberg for the PAVLN (Pan African Vineyard Leadership Network) meetings.
We'll have a lot to blog about on our return ... who knows, maybe even while we're there.
