Arrived safe and sound ...

I'm writing this with everyone crashed out after a very early morning departure in Dar. We spent a relaxing day yesterday with the VCF pastor and his wife, Martin and Magaret, as well as the Millers, part of the church plant team in Dar Es Salaam.
We woke at 4.30am this morning to catch the flight to Port Elizabeth via Johannesburg.
We start packing up at 7.30am tomorrow morning for our trip up to Riet River, 2 hours drive from here, where we'll be joining the folk for the weekend retreat.
We have a fun-filled but busy schedule ahead of us. We'll update you accordingly.
It is soooo good to be back here in PE, though really saddened by the news that a local minister here in the city (Methodist), on his first full day of sabbatical, got swept out to sea yesterday and was found this afternoon. He was 20 kms out and had evidently perished from hypothermia. He was 37, leaving a wife and a 2 and 4 yr old.
Time to sign out...
Lala salama (Good night)!
