Burundi Vineyard - Pastors Anani And Clarette

Meeting up with Larry Levy.... from Halifax Vineyard.... where it all began for us at the "Setting Your Sails" conference, Canada

Colleen and Dave Pedersen at PAVLN

Zimbabwe Vineyard - Emotional group after viewing "Mugabe and the White African", award-winning doco on Ben Freeth, member of Vineyard in Zim (Sue, his pastor is in blue blouse in the front). For latest click here. Also, see last year's blog reporting on Ben's beating (July 28, 2008).
We met Sue the first morning of the conference who had just received a call about Ben's reported arrest. There is a sobering coincidence in that the first day we attended the Vineyard International Pastors' Conference in Anaheim several years ago, we got news that Andy Shaw, pastor of the Harare Vineyard, would not be joining us as he had just been murdered. The couple on the left of the picture below, now pastor the church.

The final night at PAVLN ... some national dress

Nigerian Contingent..... dresses ornately as ever..

So neat that you were able to connect with Larry. "Setting Your Sails" seems a long time ago. When Larry mentioned you both I did my internet snooping and found your blog. Blessings on your work in Tanzania.
