Port Elizabeth and Riet River

We arrived in Port Elizabeth on Thursday afternoon, greeted by our friends Dave and Derek. We had a restful night and headed off on a two-hour journey along the Sth African coast to Riet River (near Port Alfred), for a church weekend camp.
It was relaxing, refreshing, encouraging and eventful. 3am our first night, we were woken by a huge crash. A rotten tree had fallen only feet from the cabin in which we were sleeping. Thankfully, no one was hurt and nothing was damaged.

We continue to be amazed and blessed by the generosity of the vineyard church here in PE. Their support and sharing of resources and experience and knowledge and relationship is inspiring.

Our friends Mike and Lyndall and their daughter Kirsty have also enjoyed the relaxing and spiritually inspiring time here.

May we give to others in the kingdom with the same generosity and openness ..... that we see modeled here... and in Jesus.
