Yesterday we picked up another 2 packages for the pre-schoolers at Loibersoit...
Lots of lovely toys and chalk and crayons, paper etc. etc.
Can't wait to see their little faces when they receive these.
When we get a moment in our busy schedules we will drive down there with our goodies. The wet season has been upon us.... thank you Jesus... but this has meant the roads out there are a bit risky for now. Would not want to break down or be stuck in mud in the middle of nowhere with lions around....
Our lives have sped up considerably since the beginning of the year... it is as if things are on fast forward.
We suddenly had no where to meet as a church and had to find a nearby restaurant with 2 days notice... it is too small and we are bulging at the seams.... so we are also looking for a new building to meet in.
At the same time we have lots of new groups starting up and lots of new life happening.....
Pray for our new alpha course where folks from many different faiths
( Muslim, Hindu, Catholic, and traditional african) come to discuss Christianity, its claims and repercussions.
Busy without a sense purpose is chaos and exhausting but with purpose it can bring life and reward. As Steven Covey says:
“We may be very busy, we may be very efficient, but we will also be truly effective only when we begin with the end in mind.”
