On our way home from masailand the other day we came across a small leopard tortoise which was slipping hopelessly all over the muddy road.
We decided to bring it home for a backyard of green grass and a mum and dad...
such a lovely idea...
The following morning we discovered that the small male tortoise did not consider himself a child but a fully grown male...
He persistently followed the female tortoise around exercising his maleness!!
She has not forgiven us and has gone into hiding. Poor Flash seems embarrassed.
