David was recently diagnosed with pneumonia caused by parasites. He has been feeling pretty tired, breathless and has had fevers so after lots of visits to doctors and tests we finally decided to head to Nairobi to see Dr Chunge at the Tropical Disease Centre. He is the equivalent of “Dr House” here in East Africa.
After many blood tests and x-rays it was discovered that there was a problem in his lower right lung which was caused by parasites.
He has spent 3 days on pills for worms - 3 different pills - one of which is not approved for human consumption in the UK and another 7 days on an antibiotic that is for severe or life threatening illnesses. It also treats gonorrhea! Interestingly enough, our friend, who is a vet said that he used to have lots of people show up in his surgery who wanted to remain anonymous asking for him to treat their Venereal Disease?? But, I digress…. This is not David’s affliction.
The pills cause some side effects, like, sore tendons - even tearing of tendons, sore skin, headaches etc.
After 7 days of the antibiotic for the lung infection, David is still having difficulty with his breathing and we are praying for complete healing.

We pray the blood of Jesus over your life David and command in Jesus' name that all that is robbing you of life and health to leave your body and that God's holy Spirit re-enable you to live fully for that to which you has been called. IN JESUS NAME.
Oh no! It's still not working?? I'm praying hard. Flip Dad look at the size of that pill! You were never great with swallowing pills....coat it with lots of your favourite honey ...ha.
