Short time ago got a call from an American colleague saying, "David, just wanted to call you and encourage you regarding whatever you're believing for ... God's still doing the stuff!"
Princess, a 17 year-old girl in his church got sick last night ... unexplained pains in the stomach and was rushed to hospital in Moshi (next town). She died a short time ago in ICU. Her boyfriend was the one (from what i can tell), who got the phone call and though shocked said he didn't feel that it was right, and that they should believe for God to raise her.
They called the person who was with the body and asked what was happening. They said they'd prepped the body for the morgue and were about to send her off.
The callers told the friend to stop them from doing that and prayed over the phone, at which point she coughed. That was less than an hour ago..
She's on her way home to Arusha as I write - nothing wrong with her!
