I would imagine a course on helping one to relate would be most helpful early on in one's ministry. SYIS (Sharpening Your Interpersonal Skills) is an excellent, regularly updated training seminar for missionaries and ministry leader.
I was not the only 'oldie' there - at least two others outranked me in terms of years, whilst the rest ranged in years of service.
The venue provided breathtaking early morning views; the normally shy Mount Kili looming over us in all her grandeur.
The convent provided warm hospitality and great food, and the odd fun conversation with an old Swiss priest on retreat (one minute in his cassock the next in shirt and shorts); the nuns on the ready for excited talk regarding their new pope.
Great teaching - great people - great place - great time!
