Arriving back in Arusha Tanzania, tomorrow

After seeing Zac safely back to school, we take the 5 hour drive to Arusha tomorrow morning.
We usually leave early so that we beat the traffic and avoid the heat. We are not sure how the upgrade has progressed but we are bracing ourselves for the usual bone rattling ride. We do, however, regularly remind each other that many people pay for their bodies to be shaken vigorously in those special chairs you see in airports. If is meant to increase circulation and then there is a miriad of other things it cures. We shall see. Mostly it just feels like organs have been repositioned.
We are really looking forward to returning to our home.
A couple of prayer requests:
Water - the well that has been dug by hand, on the church property, reached 105 feet and we have hit rock. Dynamite is the next stage!! Pray for the "expert" who goes down with the dynamite which has a very long wick then scrambles out quickly. Also, that we would find water and lots of it so that we can bless those around us. Currently, we buy it from a neighbouring church for a lot of money and our neighbours travel on foot for miles to collect from a town tap, then carry it on their heads in buckets.
Also, pray for the political situation in Arusha, normally a very peaceful place. Riots broke out in town today when the political party Chadema held a rally that went wrong They ran to the nearest police station for protection where the police sprayed bullets and tear gas. Not sure if anyone was killed but people were very afraid and the father of my friend was caught in the middle of it in his car. He managed to drive over pavements, blasting his horn and screaming and managed to escape unharmed.
