A couple of Sundays back, I heard what sounded like shots, and in these parts, though not a frequent occurrence, that's likely to be the case. Well it was this time too.
Our little village, Chekereni (from 'Check-the-traini' ... common name for villages built near train tracks), has a reputation for its criminal element. You wouldn't know it walking through it, as Judi and I do to pray and connect.
We are here for a reason ... and very pleased to be.
