Our surprise 25th Wedding Anniversary Celebration!!

Thanks to everyone on the Engedi base and our blessed children for your kindness and thoughtfulness Friday night in celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Each course and venue was exquisite and prepared with amazing attention to detail. I just remember the overwhelming sense of surprise and then more surprise and then further surprise as the evening unfolded with each new course and with each new route our chauffeur took. We were blindfolded then led to a small intimate table where we were informed that we were going to be treated to an evening of intimacy and exquisite food each venue was to be a surprise. The 6 course menu was comprised of: fruit juice cocktail, carrot and coriander soup, brie & pear salad, marinaded firehouse steaks with hassleback potatoes and seasonal veges, fruit kebabs, fruit cake/ chocolate cake with tea/coffee. A truly sumptuous feast. Each course was enjoyed at a different house and each venue was adorned with romantic candles and flowers. The candles certainly helped when we had the brief blackout....

There are many highlights over our 25 years of marriage, our three wonderful children being the obvious ones.
You are welcome to hear the many others over a coffee some time.

Thanks to all of you who sent messages of congratulations via our children. I can't believe how many people were involved and kept quiet about our celebration!
